Katherine Teske (Lukas) is an independent strategy consultant with over a decade of agency experience in marketing, public relations and branding. She specializes in developing meaningful brand and creative strategy with expertise in brand innovation and marketing to women consumers.Prior to independent consulting, Katherine was Strategy Director at Soulsight, a branding agency based in Chicago. Her work involved translating consumer insights into actionable brand and creative strategy for some of the world's most iconic brands. Specializing in upstream innovation, Katherine led initiatives that brought new brands to life from concept through commercialization. Katherine developed her skills as Manager of Consumer Insights & Millennial Specialist at the strategic consulting firm Female Factor. She played a key role in the firm’s marketing consulting, market research and customer experience training practices with a primary focus on women and Millennial consumers. Prior to Female Factor, Katherine honed her strategic communication skills at Edelman's Zeno Group, named PR Week’s mid-size agency of the year for three consecutive years during her tenure. She served as Zeno’s first dual Account Executive and Strategic Planner, where she researched consumer trends and managed account work across multiple client teams including Pizza Hut, Quaker Oats, Sears, Kenmore, Allstate Foundation, World Kitchen and redbox, among others. She also assisted in the formation of the Zeno Sports & Entertainment practice focused on talent vetting and procurement, celebrity endorsements and brand partnerships.Katherine graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Mendoza College of Business at the University of Notre Dame with a B.A. in Marketing and minor in Gender Studies. She is a member of The Executives’ Club of Chicago where she serves on the Leadership Circle Committee for under 40 emerging leaders.
