I am founder and design principal of Verdant View LLC. As a New York Botanical Garden certified horticulturalist and landscape designer, I have been practicing residential garden design for over ten years. My gardens have been featured on multiple landscape tours in Westchester County, as well as published in Better Homes & Gardens.I have also been actively involved in organizations that build community through horticulture, agriculture and open land preservation. Former leadership positions include: Chairman of Gardens and Landscapes, John Jay Homestead (Katonah NY), President, Rusticus Garden Club (Bedford NY), and Founder/Director, InterGenerate’s Heritage Egg Co-op (Katonah NY). I was recipient of the Ruth Sharpe Award for Open Space Preservation and the Garden Club of America award for Conservation Education. I recently served as consultant to the City of White Plains on community agriculture projects.
