I serve as the event manager for the WPB GreenMarket, currently ranked the #1 farmers market in the country by USA Today for the second consecutive year. I manage vendor relations for with 100 vendors that sell goods at the GreenMarket every week. During events, I serve as the main point of contact for onsite issues and customer needs.In addition to the GreenMarket, I also assist in executing multiple large-scale city events. In the office, I assist with collecting payments, data reporting, administrative tasks, and other ad hoc requests as needed.

In this role, I was responsible for planning and executing all events within the College of Nursing, working directly with leadership and high-level nursing faculty. This included planning the Baccalaureate Pinning Ceremony, doctoral poster presentations and white coat ceremonies, distinguished lectures, etc. Along with the pandemic, my role was updated to include supporting faculty search committees, planning virtual interviews for top nursing researchers, statisticians, and experienced faculty. I also took on the role of marketing specialist, where I managed all of our social media outlets. Beginning in March of 2021, I was presented with the opportunity to plan and execute COVID19 vaccine clinics, where we vaccinated hundreds of students, staff, and community members.

In this role, I assisted in planning and implementing over 90 summer camps that resided in on campus housing. I communicated directly with diverse external and internal clients to determine needs, sell lodging and event space, and upsell auxiliary services. I also coordinated staffing needs for each camp, co-supervising over 20 student staff members. I also had the opportunity to run the Guest Apartment program, which offered short term leases to international students, guest faculty, and visiting scholars. I was responsible for filling empty apartments, contracting with guests, managing their check-in, and serving as their main point of contact throughout their stay.

At the Gaylord National in National Harbor, just outside of Washington DC, I managed execution of all aspects of events including planning, day of coordination and exit strategies in over 500,000 square feet of meeting space for large scale events and conferences. To accomplish this, I served as the meeting planning liaison to all operational departments within the resort and interacted daily with my onsite clients to ensure that all expectations were exceeded. I strived to provide excellent customer service to ensure high client and guest satisfaction.
