My nursing experience thus far has been in critical care and post anesthesia care. Both are fast paced environments that require close attention to detail and critical thinking. Throughout my nursing career, I have acquired proficiency in being flexible, efficient, and holistic in my care for patients. I work closely with other members of the interdisciplinary team to provide the highest level of care to our patients. I have gained competency in many skills that are necessary to work with diverse populations in various settings. I possess empathy, drive, passion and communication skills. I am currently enrolled in an MSN-FNP full-time program at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and am a Behavioral Health Integration Full Scholar. I am graduating in May of 2024 and am eager to continue making connections and beginning my career as a family nurse practitioner.
