Designing swim workouts, educating swimmers on nutrition and competitive skills, setting up and helping run swim meets, implementing strategies for successful competition, fund raising.

Instruct students K-12 in Physical Education and 9th grade students in Health utilizing the California State Content Standards.

I helped run a swim team within the Central Valley Recreational Swim League. We average around 100 swimmers per summer season. I was in charge of organizing 5 two-hour swim practices per week from May through July. I supervised 5 age group coaches and 4 junior coaches. I worked specifically with the 15-18 year old swimmers.

Stepped in to monitor and teach for teachers unable to be in class for the day.

I was assigned to Quail Park Retirement Community and Laurel Court Memory Care as a personal trainer. I worked one-on-one and in groups with the residents helping them stay fit and active.

Provided one-on-one instruction in physical fitness, taught group exercise classes to the general population and to the Alzheimer's patients, led small group physical activities like walking and miniature golf.

I taught group exercise classes including step aerobics, high-low aerobics, kickboxing, sculpt, and cardio intervals.

I began my group exercise instruction career at Fitness Quest and taught for Larry on-and-off for many years. Classes I like to offer are: Yoga, Step and Sculpt, Cardio Intervals, Fun With The Ball, HIIT, and Total Body Toning.

I taught a one-unit physical education aerobics class. My responsibilities included instructing the students in safe fitness practices and cardiovascular health. Students were evaluated based on assigned reading and practical application.I left at the end of the semester as I was seven months pregnant.

Sometimes children in the foster system need extra emotional and relational support. As a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) I spent time on a monthly basis with a young teenager who had been in a few foster homes and needed extra TLC. It was a great experience that I recommend to anyone wanting to help a child get through life.
