I was responsible for developing a marketing plan as well as managing all other operations of Vinyasa Fit - Hot Yoga Studio. In addition to the facilities marketing, the operations for the business included (but were not limited to) the following: client acquisition, client retention, membership details, payment processing, studio appearance, scheduling, employment, training, merchandising retail, buying retail, and more. To operate efficiently and drive profit, I implemented standardized, easy-to-follow procedures that resonated with employees and teachers alike. For example, to foster the client to teacher relationship, all teachers were expected to interact with new and potential clients and provide them with a brochure containing a handwritten note thanking them for their business. Potential clients were then contacted three to four times within a week to document their experience and make a sale. This follow-up system yielded a 30% increase in overall new client retention percentages.Other successes include continual increases in repeat client retention, media, brand awareness, and profit. By utilizing resources such as Mindbody software, Mail Chimp, and more, combined with my knowledge of marketing and management I also managed and led the acquisition of another Hot Yoga Studio - Bend Hot Yoga Prescott.
