Supporting senior leaders in providing accountability with spending controls, budget holders and challenging non-compliance, ensuring that guidance is clear, concise targeted support to address weaknesses and increase the knowledge of all staff. Providing assurance to the permanent secretary and COO over the effective operation of spending controls whilst meeting the changing business needs.

My role includes providing advice and expertise to assist the committee in its work and attending committee meetings, governor training, induction and other events as required. I also contribute to the business of the committee and ensuring that we comply with the legal framework in which the academy operates.I actively participate in the evaluation of the effectiveness of the committee and its overallcontribution to the role of governance within the academy whilst liaising with the local community to ensure healthy growth and relatability between both stakeholders and families.

I am responsible for implementing, reviewing and evaluating sentence plans, ensuring that they support the prisoner in making better choices that will reduce their possibility of reoffending.

Supporting the Senior Management team in making decisions to ensure that they are inclusive and ensuring that they consider the needs of BME staffing group.To build and maintain relationships with the staffing group.To report concerns to the Regional lead, in order to create a culture of change.

I successfully designed a 2-week course, preparing men for release into society. I organise consultation groups in order to receive feedback from the men, attempting to understand which of their needs are not being addressed.
