I believe now is the time that the brain injury field needs to address the institutional racism and barriers to care that limit diagnosis, screening, and rehabilitation for Black, People of Color, LatinX, and Indigenous People.PINK Concussions’ mission is to increase awareness, create real change and drive innovation to develop sex/gender-appropriate, evidence-based research approaches on identification, management and support of women and girls with brain injury, including women of color and indigenous woman.Our programs range from online support groups for 8K+ female patients to international PINK summits which have trained over 4k medical providers and researchers.
