My strongest passion involves providing information so it is accessible for all. Whether it is information or objects, I have always enjoyed creating and maintaining structure, like through cataloging, editing, and following braille guidelines. I love the challenge of answering complex questions, finding creative solutions to problems, and fact-checking. Being able to make various types of information available to all people of all ages and abilities is a thrilling experience. Fun activities for me include:- Providing a concise and accurate description of an illustration, photograph or video- Offering someone a detailed account of history through artifacts - Searching for the perfect book to provide entertainment or an answer to a question - Finding the best way to ask someone a question so they can demonstrate their knowledge I am certified as both a Literary Braille Transcriber and a Braille Proofreader in Unified English Braille through the Library of Congress' National Library Service for the Blind and Physically Handicapped.
