Katy Spicer is a Partner at Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough. She possess expertise in leadership, litigation, team building, military, military operations and 17 more skills. She does her research and the recommendations she makes aren't ever "off the cuff". She refuses to fail in accomplishing assigned tasks---and they are always done better and faster than expected. As a leader she fully epitomized the leadership that is desired of an Officer of the Marines. She never assigned a task she didn't understand fully. She never shied away from getting her hands dirty and leading from the front. She actively sought out advice from her Marines, peers, and seniors. But every decision she made was based on solid reasoning that she could articulate. I trust Katy. She never tried to cover up bad news. She takes responsibility for her actions and the actions of her subordinates. All ranks loved and admired her because she listened to them and talked straight to them. Passing on bad news wasn't delayed or sugar coated and all knew she had/would do everything in her power to fix things. Her ability to anticipate issues was way above her pay grade and experience. Therefore she was rarely reactive to issues other than to put into play a previously thought out plan. In short, I would take Katy on board for ANY job she applied for because I know she'll excel at it. "
