North Carolina And Afghanistan

Led a remarkable eight-women cultural support team into combat in support of Special Operations Task Force-West, Afghanistan. These women trained, served, and fought alongside Marine and Army special operation forces over a nine month combat deployment.Managed unit’s contracting program to ensure the lawful obligation and tracking of four different Congressional programs specific to special operation forces, totaling over seven million dollars in lawful obligations.

Advised clients in a high-volume family law, consumer law, and estate planning practice.Drafted simple wills, trusts, separation agreements, and settlement agreements.Negotiated with commercial lenders, debt collectors, opposing counsel, and courts to ensure that clients’ rights were protected under the Servicemembers' Civil Relief Act, the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, and the Truth in Lending Act.

Led 50-person logistics team that supported base training and operations with food services, lodging, ammunition, motor transportation, engineering assets, and supply chain management.Coordinated with multiple multi-national businesses in order to support 100 to 350-person movements by air, land, and sea to and from mainland Japan in support of training missions.Supervised over 30 million dollars of property assets and an annual budget of $800,000.

Led team of 20 supply administration and warehouse Marines in the daily management of 65 million dollar property account, six million dollar budget, and various warehousing operations.Oversaw the supply chain management process for 13 supported agencies.Deployed twice to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and served as the unit's supply and logistics officer on both deployments.Executed a myriad of large-scale movements of over 600 Marines and 100 vehicles to areas throughout Iraq, ensuring a high level of accountability and efficiency in a combat zone.
