No matter where I am or what I'm doing, I'm checking the wind, adjusting the sails. As a grant writer, I learned to craft well-supported arguments for a nonprofit I believed in and raised $2.4M in six months. As a corporate writer, I learned executive speechwriting and translated concepts, information and objectives to the movers, shakers and decision-makers who drove the company’s revenue. But it was as a Title IV middle school English teacher, where passing the state exam was my only teaching credential, that I learned willingness is credential enough when there's no one else to adjust the sails.I'm available for remote freelance writing, editing and research opportunities.
