Conducted research as a part of a team focused on the design and development of a prosthetic device for lower-limb amputees. Involved using CAD software, FEA simulations, prototyping and testing using an Instron load machine. This project culminated in the successful prototyping of a prosthetic ankle utilizing nitinol memory shape wire. Outcomes included publication and presentation of a research abstract at a national conference as well as honors awarded to me by the Clemson Bioengineering Department.

Designed, and fabricated experimental procedure to test Dephy ExoBoot using CAD, Python, and a Futek load cell to collect data. Developed skills in data analytics, technical problem-solving, rapid prototyping tools and processes (such as 3D printers, drills, saws, etc). Final testing demonstrated improved efficiency in the software of the device with outcomes presented to supervisory team through oral and written project report.
