I recently graduated with honors from Princeton University with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical and Biological Engineering and a certificate in Applications of Computing through the Computer Science department. Upon my graduation, I was also inducted into the Sigma Xi Scientific Research Honor Society.Throughout my time as an undergraduate, I was passionate about microbiology research in medical contexts. I spent four years studying the gut microbiome through various lenses at both the University of Chicago and Princeton University. I am currently a co-author on three publications, one in Cell Host & Microbe, one in the Journal of Clinical Investigation, and one in Cell Reports. At Princeton, I wrote a senior thesis entitled “A high-throughput plate-based screening approach for identifying gut microbiome-derived genes of antibiotic inactivation”.Outside of school, I am passionate about software development. I enjoy the creativity and team-based work style. Last summer, I interned as a software development engineering intern at McDonalds, contributing to the iOS global mobile app team. I am continuing this passion as I progress through J.P. Morgan Chase’s Tech Connect and Software Engineering Program (SEP).
