Installed and checked herpetological drift fence arrays for shrew captures using bucket traps and camera traps. Assisted in other projects, including small mammal trapping utilizing Sherman traps and mist nets, and White-Nosed Syndrome bat monitoring as well as land management activities such as prescribed wildland fires. Gained training in team building, introductory caving techniques, and basic wildland firefighting. Assisted with preparing proposals for grants to fund priority conservation projects. Created and updated databases for multiple projects. Utilized Microsoft Word, Excel, Sharepoint, Access, Outlook, and used ArcGIS to map and analyze locational data.
