• Provided academic advising to a diverse group of students on academic, career, and personal goals on a walk-in basis to an average of 20 students daily• Developed Abbreviated Student Educational Plans for students’ first semester using CSU and IGETC curriculum sheets and online resources such as assist.org, bls.gov, and onetonline.org• Conducted New Student Orientation workshops to our Senior Early Assessment students in our district high schools•Informed students about progress towards completing a certificate, AA/AS-T degree, and/or transfer• Promoted academic success by facilitating workshops in English and Spanish on New Student Orientation, Goal Setting, Hope and Mindset, and Academic Success
