Payroll Operations Responsibilities:- Assists with the maintenance of all payroll schedules and timing of payroll processing. - Generates client payrolls using various software and other tracking devices.- Completes payroll reports and generates Quarterly and Annual Reports for clients.- Maintains backups, binders and files for all clients.- Handles all tracking for New Hire Reporting.- Assists in payment of client’s taxes, garnishments and benefits as needed.- Works with clients on use of proper forms and hiring requirements.- Responsible for ensuring delivery of all payrolls to post office or client.Management Duties:- Oversees all Staff in the Department, assign tasks and hours- Manages all systems and passwords in the Payroll Department including software maintenance- Manages the Escrow Funds by client and source- Processes of Quarterly and Annual Reporting including e-file submission of all returns.- Assists with Preparation of Engagement Letters as they pertain to the Payroll Department- Assists with Client On-boarding as needed.- Prepares Employee Review for Payroll DepartmentMarketing Responsibilities:- Assists in developing Client Relationships.- Attends sales calls for payroll as needed.- Responsible for completion of Payroll Department Article for the newsletter.- Assists in proof reading as necessary.
