I am the founder of PROACTIVE (People Reaching Out Advocating in the Community Together Increasing Voter Empowerment). PROACTIVE, was founded in 2004, a non-partisan coalition of community organizations and churches to get the vote out for the general election. Over the years, we have grown to be the only organization to have gained the reputation to be the third-party challenger during the election. Our organization has continued the work over the years with its volunteers to monitor the election process and protect the purity of the process. We have coordinated many volunteers to register, educate, and mobilize the community on get-out-the-vote efforts. In 2020, The PROACTIVE Project, Inc. was formed where I am the founder and Executive Director of this non-profit organization. Our mission, vision and goals are to provide social and economic progress for minorities, low income, and underrepresented, underserved and working people. Since its inception, we have taken on several projects such as education in the community about COVID-19, Skilled Trades Apprenticeship programs and Voting Rights for those that are in the Criminal Justice System.
