I am in charge of Homeschool Day at the Capitol.The West Virginia Home Educators Association was founded in 1986 to assist homeschooling families. WVHEA is open to everyone, regardless of religion, personal beliefs, or educational philosophy. It is a nonprofit organization run by volunteers – homeschooling parents who fit their work for WVHEA around the needs of their families. Kanawha Valley Soap Box Derby has been in the Charleston Area since 1969. The mission of Kanawha Valley Soap Box Derby Association (KVSBDA) is to educate and inspire youth through fair and honest competition and mentorship. With a primary goal to advance core values of sportsmanship and family participation, KVSBDA provides an environment in which parents or other mentors work hands-on with youth to develop and apply life skills by emphasizing responsibility, the spirit of competition, workmanship, leadership, achievement and perseverance.Serving Kanawha Valley and West Virginia youth ages seven to twenty, KVSBDA embraces diversity, facilitates lifelong friendships, teaches the application of math and science concepts and advocates the true spirit of teamwork and sportsmanship.

Member and Citizen Lobbyist for our 2nd Amendment Rights

I administer a Facebook group for Homeschoolers on Facebook. Helping with the laws pertaining to homeschooling. I also help with curriculum ideas and choices, set up classes, field trips, and social outings. As of May 2018 our group numbers 2400+ members. Growing daily.

I run a website for Charleston High School Alumni, I also co-head our Friday night reunion events and work on the committee for our Saturday night events. These 2 events consist of about 3000 participants from around the world. We have members of the classes from 1926 through 1989 that participate.

Candidate 13th District WV House of Delegates

• Follow rules, regulations, procedures and policies established by the Office of Laboratory Services and by State, federal and related agencies.• Log –in, evaluation of specimens, performance of test including but not limited to, stains, morphological characteristics, genetic probes, biochemical and growth characteristics.• Preventive Maintenance of laboratory equipment• Serve as backup in the Threat Preparedness and Response Laboratory, processing specimens and performing initial identification on agents of bioterrorism.• Secure and maintain a WV Clinical Practioner License

• Perform calibrations and basic maintenance of analytical systems.• Perform routine and non-routine analyses for all plants supported by Lab.• Perform troubleshooting of analytical systems.• Document, communicate and archive results.• Assist in evaluation and implementation of new/improved analytical systems• Follow EH&S and operating discipline / quality system procedures and practices

• Supervision of 10-30 employees.• Daily orders, prep, payroll, payouts, paperwork, monthly inventory.• Excellent customer service.• Hiring, training, and scheduling.

• Located, Collected, and analyzed samples of Acid Mine Drainage (AMD) and the bacterium Thiobacillus ferrooxidans.• Isolated and cultured Thiobacillus ferrooxidans.• Created assay for the cell lyses and PCR amplification of Thiobacillus ferrooxidans.• Increased profits from negative numbers to 5 digit working balance in 4 months.• Researched possible environmentally safe and effective control of the Thiobacillus ferrooxidans bacterium while maintaining the bioleaching benifits.
