I am now making use of my audit experience and research skills providing genealogy research and palaeographic transcription services. My previous and work in accounting included public practice, government and teaching tax to the next generation of aspiring accountants. My PhD research area included issues around gender in the professions, business and society, and social sustainability. My largest project utilized oral history interviews to explore the interaction between continuing professional development (CPD) and identity for women professional accountants in Canada.
