Kathi Jobkar is a teacher, public speaker and independent consultant. She previously served as the Manager of Strategic Sourcing for Allegheny Technologies Incorporated (ATI) in Pittsburgh and the Strategic Sourcing Project Manager for 4 ATI teams. Previously,Kathi served as Career Center Manager and Consultant for the Western Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia practice of Lee Hecht Harrison (formerly Drake Beam Morin, Inc.), where she provided consulting services to individuals and groups who had been displaced from Westinghouse Corporation. Kathi holds an MBA from Robert Morris University. She served as President of the Institute for Supply Management – Pittsburgh for 2000–2001 and has been an ISM member since 1988. She has served on the Advisory Boards of several local organizations, including ISM – Pittsburgh, Duquesne University’s Supply Chain Management Advisory Board, the Chartiers branch of the Salvation Army, and the Chartiers Boys and Girls Club. She is also a Past President of the Chartiers Valley Hockey Club. Kathi was selected as “Education Person of the Year for 2005”, and she was also nominated by ISM – Pittsburgh for the ISM national Education Person of the Year Award in 2002, 2003, and 2004. She has taught Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M.) review classes for ISM – Pittsburgh, Duquesne University and Penn State University, and has taught C.P.M. classes for a number of Pittsburgh corporations as an on-site consultant.
