LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION I had the pleasure of working with Kathir Tharma while at Genpharm Inc. (Etobicoke , Ontario) from January , 1996 – September , 2000. Once he found his feet in the Analytical Laboratory , Kathir soon proved his worth. He is an excellent communicator , and gets on extremely well with his peers. He possesses a keen mind and enjoys problem-solving. During his time at Genpharm Inc. , Kathir worked extremely well in a team-environment. He soon became familiar with all sophisticated analytical equipment found in a state-of-the-art pharmaceutical laboratory , and could always be relied upon to undertake the most complicated analytical tasks with little (or no) supervision. Kathir was always acutely aware of the importance of meeting targets/deadlines , and was prepared to work long hours to ensure that the project was always completed on time. His laboratory notebooks were a pleasure to read through , and he always paid meticulous attention to neatness and accuracy. I left Genpharm Inc. in September , 2000 to assume a senior position within the newly-formed Arrow Group , but often visited Kathir in the Analytical Laboratory of Cobalt Pharmaceuticals Inc. (Mississauga , Ontario) , since Cobalt Pharmaceuticals were also in the Arrow Group of companies. After working with Kathir at Genpharm , Inc. it came as no surprise to see Kathir progress from being a “chemist” to “Group Leader” and finally “Supervisor” at Cobalt Pharmaceuticals Inc. I am delighted to write this “Letter of Recommendation” for Kathir , knowing that any company employing him in an analytical laboratory environment will be hiring an excellent employee who will most certainly contribute positively to that company’s performance. Sincerely.
