In this position, I oversee the implementation of the federally funded Community Development Block Grants (CDBG), HOME and Neighborhood Stabilization Programs. I analyze market trends and direct revitalization efforts in economically distressed communities; including blight removal, homeowner down payment assistance programs, and acquisition and rehabilitation of single family homes.

As Manager of the Neighborhood Housing and Services Division, I provided oversight to professional and para-professional staff, while managing a multi-million dollar budget. I planned and implemented staff trainings and performance evaluations, also presenting reports and assessments for elected officials and constituent audiences.

In this role, I employed advanced planning and organizing techniques to implement initiatives forneighborhood improvement and revitalization. I developed, administered and analyzed surveys to assess community needs, and coordinated the activities of varying city departments in providing direct services across community neighborhoods.
