A non-profit, charitable community counseling center and training institute in the heart of the Marina district of San Francisco providing counseling for adults, couples, groups and families at adjustable rates.

- DONA trained Postpartum Doula and MA qualified family coach passionate about supporting mothers and their partners in the process of birth and growing their families- Specialized in working with mothers experiencing Perinatal Mood Disorders (depression, anxiety, compulsivity, trauma and mood fluctuations during pregnancy and up to one year following birth), as well as their partners experiencing similar symptoms related to the stress of pregnancy and new parenthood- Interested in coaching mothers through ritual, grief, fear and the unknown related to the life transitions of pregnancy, birth, and parenthood- Provides coaching for new families around positive parenting skills and the integration of new babies into families with existing siblings- Additional postpartum support provided, including assistance with breastfeeding technique, newborn care education, and connection to support groups and community resources

- Completed 200 hour Yoga Alliance Certified training with New York and San Francisco based training program- Private instruction and group class experienced

My experience with children, teens and families has been gained through working clinically in both a Medi-Cal Authorized / Sliding Scale Fee clinic, and in school-based settings. Based on my work in these environments, I am comfortable coordinating cohesive, integrated client treatment plans with teachers and school personnel, parents, social service and mental health professionals, doctors, and Medi-Cal.In my work I utilize a strengths-based, client-centered, Humanistic approach, drawing from training in Cognitive-Behavioral, Narrative and Gestalt based orientations. I emphasize the development of self-soothing/coping skills, emotional awareness and communication, and resourcing self-support through the use of auxiliary modalities such as:- Sand-tray- Play therapy- Expressive Arts- Mindfulness / Systematic-Relaxation / Awareness Practices I have experience treating:- Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Attachment Trauma- Depression and anxiety spectrums- Children and teens struggling with attention, hyperactivity and impulsivity- Difficulties with school performance and leaning- Adjustment disorders- Social skills and problems with peers- Life transitions- Relationship issues- Parenting concerns. In addition, I am trained in utilizing Brief Intervention treatments with substance using teens.*Currently completing certification in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), an evidence-based program developed at UC Davis (http://pcit.ucdavis.edu/about-us/). PCIT is a unique parent coaching experience for families with young children (ages 2-8).

- Overseeing front-of-house operations for #1 Pilates studio in the Bay Area, including managing online studio scheduling software, executing marking initiatives, and producing monthly newsletter- Hiring, managing, supporting and scheduling front desk team- Receiving and responding to client concerns and questions, acting as point-of-contact for staff, instructors and clients- Daily contact and coordination with studio owners

- Monitored store level forecasting and set-up to ensure strong "in-stock" position in stores- Allocated products from the Central Distribution Center to stores utilizing electronic replenishment systems- Analyzed store level activity and and opportunity to identify larger strategic initiatives

- Facilitated all aspects of the store opening process: recruitment, training, build-out management, IT installation and set-up, product order and management of shipments, store organization, store opening festivities- Executed the HR process independently: recruiting, hiring, training, coaching and developing employees, as well as processing necessary separations- Worked closely with the Inventory Manager to manage flow of product in and out of store, and produce results which met or exceeded company "shrink" goal
