- Expanded the Strategic Energy Management program as a result of market feedback and program success beyond the initial industrial pilot to encompass water resource recovery facilities and the commercial sector. This expansion also included the roll out of two new program offerings including SEM On Demand, a one-on-one alternative to the original cohort-based program, and Virtual Treasure Hunts which specifically focus on identifying energy improvement opportunities. These new offerings more than tripled year-over-year program enrollment. - Collaborate with other departments and programs within NYSERDA including Communities & Local Government, P-12 Schools, Colleges and Universities, Corporate Marketing and Communications, and Events Management to create linkages to increase programmatic success, deliver a cohesive and elevated experience for participants, and raise awareness and benefits of strategic energy management- Leverage involvement with leading energy, energy efficiency and strategic energy management organizations such as the North American SEM Collaborative, CEE’s SEM Working Group, NEEP’s SEM Group, US DOE, and US EPA to advance the SEM field and bring creative ideas to New York’s program delivery

- Developed and executed the Industrial Strategic Energy Management Pilot program under New York’s Clean Energy Fund. This program focuses on training industrial facility staff at all levels from shop floor operator to C-Suite management to identify energy savings opportunities, manage and track energy use, and incorporate energy into decision making. I initiated the research and design of this program; collaborated with stakeholders and program administrators across North America to develop a cohesive offering; and built out the work plans, budgets, and savings goals. In addition, I managed the day-to-day activities and workloads of contract employees working on legacy industrial programs; managed reporting and data quality assurance for the team; and implement improvements to streamline program processes.- Managed an array of projects for the Industrial and Process Efficiency program, the FlexTech program, and the Cleaner Greener Communities program including facility and process upgrades at manufacturing companies, energy studies at schools and commercial businesses, and sustainable community development projects throughout New York State.- Created several reporting and data quality standard operating procedures to ensure accuracy in data, which led to reduced processing time and increased data quality.

- Developed processes, tools, and user guides to streamline application and financial processing, and management of projects for the Photovoltaic (PV) Incentive Program and the Industrial and Process Efficiency Program- Created dashboards and reports to track budget and application processing rates to determine if there were any bottlenecks, and developed solutions to address reoccurring problems- Collaborated with software developers to create an externally facing portal to the PV database where installers could enter project information and check the status of their projects. - Created guidance documents and SOPs for all the databases these programs used to ensure consistent and efficient processing

- Represented the Energy and Environmental Technology Applications Center (E2TAC), a subgroup within the SUNY College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering, at trade fairs, conferences, and seminars - Organized scheduling, acquiring speakers, development of event agendas, catering, hotel accommodations, transportation, demonstrations, give-aways, and day-of coordination for several small events, and an annual larger multi-day event, focused on technology development related to energy efficiency and renewable energy

The United States Department of Energy hosted me as their intern during my final semester at SUNY Albany. I worked in the Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy and the Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technologies Office. Over the five months I was there, I was exposed to the unique challenges and opportunities in the energy efficiency and renewable energy space. I was encouraged to work on projects within various departments and attended a conference focused on US hydrogen energy infrastructure and production.
