I am currently responsible for management of fitness programs in aCCRC with a population of 265 older adults. In addition to day-to day maintenance of gym, I perform evaluations and create personalized fitness programs for residents living independently, in assisted living, skilled nursing and memory care. I collaborate with on-site rehabilitation staff to create programs for residents transitioning out of therapy, and teach fall prevention, cardiovascular fitness and strength and balance classes. I frequently conduct workshops on various aspects of fitness and write articles monthly in the local newsletter.

I provide exercise programs for older adults, focusing on post-rehabilitation, strength, and fall prevention programs. I collaborate with rehabilitation specialists in order to best design and deliver exercise programs that keep clients functioning at their optimal. My clinical experience includes cardiac rehabilitation, pulmonary and metabolic function testing and specialized programs with cancer patients. My practice is mobile in order to accommodate clients without transportation.

I conducted a feasibility study on exercise as a prevention for fatigue in cancer patients, then continued on as associate for pilot and finally large randomized, control study.
