You’d think with all my years involved in the arts I’d be better at summarizing myself with a creative twist.. well here it goes!Not everyone gets to say it, but I’m a native of Rosevelt Island, New York and it gives me so much pride to originally come from a part of New York City that is often forgotten. And just how I love the uniqueness of my origins, it has become apart of me to see the beauty and authenticity in everything and everyone I encounter. Individuality is something I chose to flourish in and always encourage it in others. I’m the “world’s greatest auntie” or as I’ve been crowned by my plethora of nieces and nephews. And this is because of the tender touch, nurturing, and discipline I lead with. This often reflects in my leadership work and experience development. I’m all for setting the cards straight but I’ll never leave it on a sour note, for everything is a learning curve and everyone learns differently. I’m the “If you have a lot on your plate, let me grab a bowl.” type of leader. I’ve experienced first hand in my many work experiences how things can fall apart without the right support system, and I’d much rather lighten the load than watch the struggle. As of now I’m currently looking to further my career path in leadership and find the right work environment to flourish this skill.
