Her involvement in AIESEC has undoubtedly contributed greatly to her employability. She is already far more employable than many of the graduates I have met. I'd have no hesitation in recommending her to any client who has a project which can draw on her personal skills." and "Having directly managed Kathleen for the past 6 months, I have been impressed by her impeccable work ethics. She is a driven, hard working young woman who has shown proof of resourcefulness in achieving set goals & targets. Her creative ability has been a great asset to our organisation as she regularly puts forward new innovative ideas to grow our market reach and is not shy of taking initiative to help further enhance our systems and processes. Not only does she have contributive, positive 'can-do' attitude in the workplace, she also knows how to act on it. Kathleen is a very organised person who works very efficiently. Her high level of productivity has enabled her to handle many projects at once, always completing them in a timely fashion. All these qualities are the reason for which I chose to rapidly promote her to a team leader position, where she is currently managing 5 people. The good example she has set in her work behaviour combined with her refined communication skills have proven to be very inspiring and motivating for the team she leads and have resulted in a notable increase in activity by all team members. Kathleen has been an invaluable part of my team and I've no doubt she will bring much value to any organisation she joins in the future. She is without a doubt the most dedicated and diligent young lady I have met to date."

Communications & Events OfficerGeraldine Connor Foundation Sep 2016 - Jul 2017Leeds, United KingdomIn my position as Communications Officer I was responsible for the public image of the foundation; this included social media, press, managing the website, media output, e-bulletins and blogging, design work, advertising in print/online and collecting and collating evaluation data. As a newly created position within the company it was my responsibility to archive and analyse previous output to create the 3-year communications strategy and budget for the foundation. This included monitoring our impact within the community and on individuals, as well as managing the communications schedule and monitoring and evaluating my own progress against a set of agreed targets and deadlines. As an ambassador and advocate for our mission to promote equality and diversity in the arts I worked closely with the creative projects producer; creating workshops and opportunities for young people and assisting in the design, implementation and evaluation stages of the workshops. Working in a small team with many obligations requires us to be flexible and reliable. I purposefully chose a small team over other opportunities as I knew it would mean additional responsibility and challenges as well as the chance to learn from my colleagues. -
Proprietor / Managing Director / EntrepeneurSoundmind Oct 2015 - Jun 2016SoundMind is dedicated to raising awareness of and tackling the stigma around mental health through music and comedy events. Recently we produced a professional music and comedy fundraiser for Leeds Mind at the Hi-Fi club Leeds. The event held at the HiFi club Leeds included three professional comedians and an upcoming local band. The evening was well attended and a roaring success raising over £100 for charity, enabling conversation around mental health and launching the brand. We hope to create more events soon. My role at SoundMind including strategy, marketing, production, negotiation and much more, managing my own company/event was a true learning curve and something I would love to do again either with SoundMind or elsewhere.
