I am currently an Environmental Scientist in the 401 Water Quality Certification unit at the Central Coast Water Board. I received a Master of Science in Applied Marine and Watershed Science in May, 2019. During my graduate studies I worked as a Teaching Associate Laboratory Support Technician for chemistry. My core classes focused on freshwater systems and analyzing water quality, flow, habitat, and geomorphology. My Professional Science Master's internship was analyzing three decades of water quality data at the Elkhorn Slough National Estuarine Research Reserve, culminating in a technical report. I received Scientific Diver training and have SCUBA experience in aquaculture and lake weed removal. I have international experience in the Marshall Islands as a Deputy Program Manager for a USAID-funded aquaculture program and as a Landfill Site Supervisor. My career interests include water quality monitoring, regulation of activities impacting aquatic habitat, and restoration work in freshwater, marine, and estuarine systems.
