About Kathleen Hunt

My expertise sits at the intersection of program/project management, workforce development, team leadership, and social impact. My strengths span team leadership and strategy, partner relations, program design, project management, diversity and inclusion, curriculum development, training and facilitation, and 1:1 coaching, which I have developed in the edtech, nonprofit, and higher education sectors. I’m motivated by lofty goals and real impact - my career has revolved around eliminating systemic barriers to education and career success, closing the racial wealth gap, and helping companies tap into the potential of diverse, innovative workforces. After a year-long work hiatus that I spent hiking, biking, and camping across the western United States and Canada, I’m putting down new roots in the Boulder, CO area. I have never felt more energized to dive headfirst into an exciting new role, and I’m thrilled to have recently joined the IEM team supporting Puerto Rico Critical Infrastructure in the wakes of Hurricanes Maria and Fiona.

    Career Break May 2022 - Apr 2023
In May 2022, I took an intentional hiatus from work to roadtrip across the western United States and Canada with my partner. We spent 10 months camping, hiking, mountain biking, trying to learn how to farm (mixed success there), practicing photography, skiing, and indulging in precious, unrushed time with family and friends. This break was an immense privilege, and was the first time I had been unemployed since I've been legally old enough to work. It offered me a chance to reflect on my goals and priorities, which has been invaluable as I reenter the workforce and search for my next opportunity.I've never been more energized to dive into a new role, and am actively looking for mission-driven companies seeking an impact-oriented professional with expertise in and a passion for workforce development, climate and sustainability, learning and development, and/or social impact.
