With over 12 years of experience in public libraries, I am a passionate and dedicated library leader who strives to provide excellent services and programs to the community. As the Assistant Director and Head of Reference Services at Billerica Public Library, I oversee the daily operations of the library, help manage a staff of 19, and coordinate the reference, outreach, and technology services. I also collaborate with the Director and other stakeholders to plan and implement the library's strategic goals, budget, policies, and procedures. Previously, I worked as the Literacy Program Coordinator and Reference Librarian at Nevins Memorial Library, where I managed a successful adult literacy program that served over 100 learners and volunteers annually, and provided reference and information services to the public. I have a Master of Library Science degree from Southern Connecticut State University, and I have developed strong skills in management, organization, library science, and literacy education. I am committed to advancing the library's mission of fostering lifelong learning, promoting literacy, and enriching the community.
