Professor of Maternal Child, Fundamentals and simulation, I apply my MS in Nursing with over 30 years of nursing experience to educate and inspire the next generation of nurses. I worked as a Registered Nurse at Boston Medical Center, where I provided high-quality care to patients in the OB GYN ambulatory-inpatient unit. In my previous role as an Associate Professor and Simulation Educator at Labouré College, I implemented innovative simulation scenarios and curricula to enhance student learning and clinical skills. I have proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Outlook, sharepoint and Excel. My core competencies include nursing education, nursing informatics, simulation, OB GYN nursing, patient care, and inter-professional collaboration. I am pursuing a DNP and work in education.My mission is to advance the nursing profession through evidence-based practice, lifelong learning, and social justice. I am passionate about creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment for my students, colleagues, and patients.
