I began my teaching career in Los Angeles in 1998. I have taught fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh grade but have spent most of my years as a sixth grade teacher. After moving my family to the North Carolina area in 2006 I began teaching in Catawba County where I found my passion, teaching science. I absolutely LOVE IT! Over the last few years I have started presenting at NCSTA and showcased some of my students projects at NCTIES. Showing educators how to implement technology, robotics and STEAM into the classroom is so much fun. I want to inspire others to use technology and not fear it so they can start using it in their classrooms to help boost student engagement. Below are my degrees and certifications.
