Supervisor: Tracy Reed, Program Director (716) 406-8311 Hearts and Hands is a 501 (c) 3 not-for-profit organization which pairs trained volunteers with older and physically-challenged adults for transportation and in-home support. Duties as Communications Coordinator: --Wrote all press releases; wrote and reviewed all promotional materials, branding materials; prepared ads for print;worked with our webmaster to prepare content for the website and for social media;wrote/edited the newsletter; worked with suppliers (printers, promotional product dealers) to obtain bids and make recommendations to Executive Director for vendor selection; advised Executive Director of promotional opportunities, e.g. television appearances,sponsorship and advertising prospects Former duties as Administrative Assistant: --Handled all correspondence, scheduled appointments, received/processed donations, prepared bulk mailings, ordered supplies,handled marketing projects which led to organization’s creating the position of Communications Coordinator.
