Currently part of the Events Associate Programme and I was honoured to be chosen as the sole full-time Events Associate for Singapore Management University (SMU) Office of Corporate Communications (University Events) in Summer 2016.During my time with UE, I had been actively involved in the planning of SMU’s yearly Commencement and Convocation. I was also given the opportunity to co-lead the SMU Reunion 2016 Event, which involved gathering the alumni from different junior colleges and polytechnics to host their former principals and/or Head of DepartmentsMy other contributions included assisting in the SMU Presidential Lecture Series: Professor Dr Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono and the SMU School of Law Topping Out Ceremony. Most recently, I was also actively involved in the behind-the-scenes planning and participated in the 2016 Ho Rih Hwa Lecture Series: UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon.

I was an intern with Health Promotion Board (HPB), Corporate Marketing Division, Digital Marketing Department.During my internship, I undertook certain projects that value-added to the Digital Marketing Department and HPB. There are three main aspects to my contributions at HPB: Digital Marketing – Facebook and Twitter Campaigns, HealthHub – Children’s Health campaign and Competitive Analyses for HPB’s Senior Management.1. Digital Marketing (Facebook and Twitter Campaigns)I planned and managed social media campaigns for HPB’s Facebook and Twitter pages, and created original content calendars for HPB. I also carried out social media listening. This involved the constant monitoring of various social media platforms and existing online conversations. These observations allowed me to create more opportunities for HPB to promote healthy living. 2. HealthHub – Children’s HealthI was placed in-charge of the Children's Health campaign for HealthHub. This involved managing and coordinating different vendors and agencies to ensure that ad placements and creatives were implemented within the short timeline. Some of the creatives include: Children’s Health Website, Children’s Health Brochure and Poster, Children’s Health Building Façade Banner, Digital Ad placements and Children's Health social media campaigns.3. Competitive Analysis Studies I was tasked to create a competitive analysis study to determine the various strengths and weaknesses of HealthHub, compared to its existing competitors. This helped HPB to identify more opportunities for the growth of HealthHub, and the findings were eventually presented to HPB's CEO.I also created a demand poll, which aimed to determine which of the two companies was a more suitable and cost-efficient vendor for to facilitate social media listening for HPB. The analysis was presented to the Director of HPB's Corporate Marketing Division, who then made a decision based on the analysis compiled.

I held various responsibilities at Naiise and this allow me to display a range of strengths including comprehensive research skills, clear presentation abilities and excellent communication skills. This earned me a strongly positive appraisal from Dennis, the founder of Naiise. My responsibilities included: - Promoting emerging designers, both local and overseas, by helping them to gain popularity, awareness and significantly increased sales for both the designers and Naiise- In-charge of generating newsletters four times a week and analysed newsletter trends weekly to help improve on both lead generation, as well as open and click rates- Became the third largest contributor to both online and offline sales of Naiise, with my most successful brand holding the top position in offline sales and in the top 5 position for online sales- Spearheaded the organization of a pop-up store at a design event, Singaplural 2015 and showed strong ability to work within tight timelines, especially when there was a sudden change in the size of the store- Supported the Naiise team in the setting up of the first long-term flagship store at Westgate
