Maintaining NIA transactions with analysis, and data entry of scene, statistic, vehicle, person, and then linking appropriately within each occurrence. Interpreting scanned documentation and determining how the police reports should be classified or filed. Classify information according to National Standards and Guidelines, such as, content and assignment. Retrieve DOCLOC e-files and records and disseminate to appropriate workgroups. Application of administrative knowledge and procedures such as word processing, managing files and records, electronic filing software, transcription (WinScribe), and managing SWIFT files. I operate the Court Magistrate System (CMS) and employ the Custody node to manage cases by creating and clearing charges. I prepare Prosecution Files, manage the Vitim Contact Case Node, and organise Complaint Acknowledgement Forms (CAF) required for victims where appropriate. I Utilise the AFIS node to correlate available fingerprint evidence, and maintain information in Alco-Link database. I design FMC transaction templates to streamline processes for (Traffic Crash Reports (TCR) e.g.,1V, 1U, and 6I, Warrants to Arrest (WTA), Summonses, Domestic Protection Orders (DPO), Pre-Charge Warnings (PCW), Field Resolutions, Trespass and Protection Orders, Licence Suspension/ Impoundment and other Alerts. Understanding the criminal litigation process and providing quality application of constitution and statutes with access to Legislative Reference eQuery. Operate Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, PeopleSoft, Share-Point, and the Police Intranet. Show less
