Kathy Carpenter, co-founder, is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional and Accredited Investment Fiduciary, with over 30 years of experience in the financial industry helping clients through holistic financial planning, disciplined investment strategies and proactive personal service. Kathy is passionate about educating the public about the enormous differences between investment advice and integrated financial planning. She has taught financial responsibility classes at CSU-Chico, Yuba College, Safeway and Intel Corporations, as well as lectured at local workshops and businesses.In her spare time you can find her spending time on her houseboat with her family, traveling with friends or on the 20th Street pickle-ball courts. She stays active in the community currently serving on the EveryBody Healthy Body Board of Directors, CARD (Chico Area Recreation) special-committees and volunteering with other local non-profit organizations. Past board member of Ability First Sports. Kathy’s philosophy:“You can get everything you want in life by helping others get what they want”. I had heard these words a hundred times from my mentor and being young and trusting, I took them to heart. This is how I started my journey and my business.It wasn’t about making a lot of money – it was about helping another. Being able to look them in the eyes and know in my heart I did my best for their best. There were times of uncertainty, no cash flow and always change. The change, while difficult, taught me to give up the good and allow the great. To not settle for mediocrity and to always push to the next level, continue to learn and to accept that I can only control so much. The rest I needed to let go and trust.I am fortunate to continually grow with and through the experiences I share with our clients, our team, my family and friends.
