Lead the development and implementation of Partners in Change's (PIC's) coaching model, messaging, external relations, and operations at this innovative nonprofit created by Neil Shorthouse, co-founder of Communities in Schools. PIC provides free personal and professional coaching to adults in need. We train volunteers to serve as a 1:1 coach with a community member pursuing goals. In this relationship-focused program, coaching teams talk weekly for a year as partners in the community member's success. Our vision is to enable personal, social, and economic upward mobility for individuals, families, and communities.

Strategically planned, executed and grew The Lovett School's True Blue Annual Fund. Initiated multiple new programs and initiatives, achieving a 30% increase in annual giving over five years. Grew annual giving volunteer team from 38 to 130. Collaborated with Advancement Committee of the Board of Trustees. Participated in strategic planning and implementation of school's overall development objectives. Developed and stewarded donor relationships at all levels. Managed and led annual giving team of three.

Designed, implemented and led all aspects of fund development and alumni relations. Grew total annual giving by 66% and average gift by 110%. Built development effort from a single focus on annual giving to a robust department that provided comprehensive programs for all constituencies. Developed strong internal and external relationships to support programs; identified funding streams and opportunities; coordinated closely with board and staff leadership and marketing and admissions departments to enhance outreach efforts.

Guided clients in expanding board and leadership involvement, enhancing internal and external relationships, assessing fundraising strengths and weaknesses, and actualizing overall vision. Consulted with 24 local, state, regional, national and international organizations, including CHRIS 180, Georgia Alliance on Young Children, Georgia Budget and Policy Institute, The Fund for American Studies, Girls Inc. (Greater Atlanta, Sarasota, and its national offices), Women Work!, Dollars for Scholars, Southern Alliance for Clean Energy, EARTH University (in Costa Rica), and the Children’s Hospital of Costa Rica.
