Use Aspire software to create and present proposals, schedule crews, manage workflow, create purchase orders, track and approve crew time for billing and payroll, upload supporting documents, monitor enhancement division goals, and track job profitability. Ensure crews have appropriate safety gear and tools, schedule equipment repair, order plants and supplies for pick up or delivery to the site. Manage crews on-site as necessary and coordinate with landscape architects on large projects. Meet with property managers on site to determine needs and budget. Interview, hire, and train 4-5 full time and 3-6 seasonal staff while complying with corporate standards for hiring, disciplining and reporting incidents. Track and categorize departmental spending using cloud-based accounting software. Utilize Microsoft Office Suite for equipment tracking and general communication. Manage quarter million dollar operating budget, not including capital purchases or payroll. Initiated training for staff in safety, maintenance, production and attention to detail.Program, adjust, test, and repair two irrigation systems. Redesigned and upgraded 43 zone system to a Toro Sentinel computer controlled system. Personally utilize landscaping hand tools, blowers, chainsaws, mowers, and some larger equipment to complete landscaping maintenance and new construction tasks. Especially proficient using a Ventrac articulating tractor with attachments such as the power rake, turbine blower, trencher and Tough Cut mower.Develop and implement turf and plant maintenance programs based on industry standards and university research.
