A key member of Acton-Boxborough high school's safety commission--partnered with a dynamic team that was in charge of monitoring and supervising over 2,000 students.Beyond the supervision of the campus, I worked closely with challenging students. There was a focus to help young adults to improve poor decisions and create a proactive environment to help them better themselves. I partnered with Dean of Students and the Associate Principals to create programs that would take first and second time offenders, and provide them a set of courses that would not only redirect their attention but put their energies into something more proactive for their communities.

Maynard, Ma

Through the town of Maynard, I partnered with Minuteman senior services to improve and optimize the existing Meals on Wheels (MOW) program. I worked with my team to evolve our practices so that we built stronger community bonds, created awareness of our services, conducted outreach to new members and provided stronger support for our existing members. As senior coordinator, I was responsible for all aspects of the program development; recruitment, administration, scheduling volunteers & drivers, ordering with vendors and maintenance of the facilities. I also facilitated several annual events. We partnered with local school systems and community volunteer groups to extend our reach. We produced engaging programs; we included local musicians, artists, local business owners to help create interactive experiences. I recruited local students to create inter-generational program that connected middle school and high school students to veterans and other elderly residents. Our goal was to help prevent isolation and expose younger generations to a new point of view.
