Focusing transition services for youth in Hope Partnership program. Bringing connections and partnerships into the facility for a smoother transition to the community. Housing, jobs, financial independence skill-building partners and resources, and coordinating follow-up for success.

Continuing the Hope Partnership with OYA and Janus Youth Programs, Inc as Project Coordinator Manage program bringing workshops and connections in the arts, life skills, and transitions services for incarcerated youth and youth in community settings. Recruit and coordinate volunteers and mentors for services to youth for positive youth development and successful transition to communities. Expand partnerships with community organizations for increased services to youth. Main office MacLaren YCF/OYA; serving youth in Portland Metro area and throughout Oregon.

Implemented pilot program of Hope Project as "Hope Partnership" in MacLaren Youth Correctional Facility, an Oregon Youth Authority close custody facility. Managed challenges of creating the program in a corrections setting and achieved the successful outcome of embedding the program in the Treatment Support Services spectrum. Continuing to bring in partners and volunteers in the arts, life skills, fitness activities, and transitions services for workshops and opportunities for all youth in the facility. Partnerships engaged include Resolutions Northwest, Partnership for Safety and Justice, Insight Development Group, Goodwill Industries, Morpheus Youth Project, Portland State University, Toastmasters Intl., Ceili of the Valley Society, Portland Highland Games and professional artists, coaches, writers, and educators and community members. Recruit, manage, and support volunteers in the delivery of services, mentoring, and engaging youth in activities for positive youth development and personal growth. Developing network of support in housing and employment for transitioning youth including outreach to community groups and faith-based organizations.

Through direct service and volunteer mobilization, Oregon State Service Corps (OSSC) AmeriCorps members address significant community needs in the areas of disaster preparedness, education, public health, human needs and volunteer coordination.Environmental Health and Sustainability Educator. Grade 7 and 8 Health Teacher. Administrative substitute. Administrative intern under the direction of Principal. Responsibilities included mentoring new teachers and student behavior management. Worked with staff, students and families to develop, implement, and oversee behavior plans, student guidance, and developed and implemented activities and games for background vocabulary review and new vocabulary development for all students. Assistant Volleyball coach.

Delivered comprehensive Health and PE curriculum for grades 9 & 10. Delivered elective curriculum in Healthful Living, Environmental Health, and Sports Medicine, included regular collaboration with Environmental Science, Biology, and Language Arts teachers for cross-curricula impact. Short and long term assignment substitute teacher across disciplines. Freshman Girls Basketball coach.
