Leasing, Invoice Discounting, Banking, Agribusiness have been sectors that I worked in, but actually I have a particular interest in many other sectors in B2B. Key improvements were made in product innovation, IT, risk policies and processes and staff capabilities. I steered the various business lines of the Global Business Unit, and successfully led a project team to investigate future opportunities of developing DLL’s Factoring business. This resulted in the upscaling of the Dutch business, which expanded into the UK, Ireland, Germany, Belgium and Spain.Double-digit growth was achieved for the Global Business Unit Financial Institutions, leading to 300 FTEs, €5 billion turnover, and portfolios in three continents. I built the Factoring Asset-based Finance Association, a cooperation between competing asset-based companies and a Dutch marketing and lobby platform, linked to the EU.
