My passion is to deliver quality products by focusing on the customers' primary needs and exceeding their expectations. By understanding our customer and the product, I am able to deliver on the most valuable features in an efficient, productive manner. Defining product roadmaps and inter-dependencies between systems, products and technical teams are key to ensuring a clear path to success. I was often sought out to drive and solve complex problems which is always a welcome challenge for me. With a strong analytical background, I have thrived in both waterfall and agile development environments. As a Certified Scrum Master and a long-term member of a cohesive agile team, I have worked most effectively within this highly collaborative environment. In true agile fashion, I have taken on the role of Product Owner, Scrum Master and Team member which has given me a front row seat to learning the challenges and opportunities that we each face on a daily basis. I have worked extensively on writing use cases and user stories, prioritizing backlogs, defining deliverable feature sets and release schedules all while focusing on the needs of our customers. As a leader, I strive to have an inclusive type of style where I encourage others to take on new responsibilities and challenges. I am willing to dive into the details when it is needed, but I also know when to step back to allow colleagues to expand their knowledge base. I provide guidance and support, but foster their professional growth by identifying opportunities towards their individual career aspirations.
