I see a swing away from globalisation and am heartened by the prospect of heading toward bespoke Australian design that incorporates locally sourced, natural and sustainable products that support artisans and craftsmen. As past president of the Perth Rotary and board member of the Kimberley Dental team, I’m a strong believer in community involvement and supporting people doing great work to help others. MKDC regularly contributes design time and pro bono goods and services to those in despairing or disadvantaged circumstances. Outside of the vibrant and challenging interior design world, I like to immerse in culture, the arts and nature through travel. There’s always more to learn about people and how they experience their own unique environments and this is a great source of inspiration for me.
