Human Resources Director• Responsible to lead the human capital efforts of an over 400-person nationwide workforce consisting of remote sales, plant and office personnel.• Contracts with outside suppliers to provide employee services, such as insurance brokers and carriers, 401(k) administrators and other outside sources. • Conducts a continuous audit of all Human Resources policies, programs, and practices necessary to keep management informed of new developments.• Leads the development of recruitment, department goals, measurements, and talent management systems to support the accomplishment of company strategic goals.• Manages the development and maintenance of all HRIS Systems, including payroll, time keeping and employee maintenance.• Leads ongoing effort in recruitment including the direct hire of plant workers to eliminate the overhead associated with temporary workers. • Formulates and recommends Human Resources policies and objectives for employee relations that compliment company goals and strategic vision.• Keeps up to date on all law and trends impacting the company. • Managed the efforts of the Corporate Recruiter to hire and on-board right fit talent.• Guided employees through the FMLA, WC and Leave of Absence process to ensure a smooth process and return to work program.• Prepared and filed all compliance reporting including, EEO, VETS-100, AAP, 401(k), Benefit and WC Audits.• Assisted in the conversion process of a new HRIS System.
