• Responsible for developing, managing and evaluating program outreach and recruitment initiatives for the E4Texas program at The University of Texas at Austin, including designing and distributing promotional materials.• Develop and implement strategies to increase internship and employment opportunities for E4Texas students both locally and across the state.• Establish and maintain relationships with community partners related to recruitment, outreach, internships, and employment for E4Texas students.• Support and teach the E4Texas students as needed. Survey students/community participants, evaluate results, and determine if project objectives are met or if improvements are needed.• Program administration and coordination. • Community outreach, community organizing, and marketing campaigns. • Building relationships and collaborating across departments, agencies, and/or organizations.• Interacting with a diverse population of stakeholders, including UT students, family members, faculty, staff, community partners, and local/state agencies using diplomacy and discretion at all times.

College Hospital Costa Mesa is a 122 bed facility that provides patient focused medical, surgical, and behavioral health services to meet the needs of patients throughout Orange and Los Angeles Counties. Full-service care is provided to patients suffering mental illness, who are depressed, drug dependent, a danger to self or others, and those not capable of taking care of themselves. Services include inpatient healthcare for psychiatric diagnosis, medical detoxification, crisis stabilization, discharge planning, and medication management. Outpatient healthcare services are also provided. Each Recreation Therapist is responsible for documentation of admissions and discharges, screenings, planning and implementing RT treatment plan interventions, attending Multidisciplinary Treatment Planning Conferences, providing leisure counseling and discharge planning as ordered by physician, and documentation of patient progress notes. The goal is to provide recreation and leisure education services and treatments in order to connect patients with the therapeutic benefits of recreation both during treatment at the hospital, and after discharge independently in their local community.

Coordination of a base-wide program focusing on quality of life advocacy, recreation, and community involvement for active duty service members. Event execution includes leading groups while camping, hiking, visiting local points of interest and other outdoor recreational focused events. Additional duties include program planning, creating calendar of events and newsletter, quarterly reporting to headquarters, coordinating & leading recreational trips. Maintaining the Single Marine Program website, and maintaining the social media accounts for the Single Marine Program, Outdoor Adventures program, Active Duty Recreation Centers, and the Semper Fit dept. Evaluates active duty recreational needs on a continuing basis to determine interest and improve the quality of service.

Manage youth sports teams aboard USMC base Camp Pendleton. Responsible for planning, recruiting, registering, training, and supervising program participants and attending all events throughout each quarterly season. Provides an experience responsive to the needs of our troops, military families, and authorized civilians and retirees.

Lead outdoor-centered experiences designed to foster positive peer relationships, self-confidence, and environmental stewardship.

Plan youth activities and manage staff/program participants. Promote healthy living, social responsibility, and development within the Boston Public Schools system & the YMCA of Greater Boston.

Encourage at-risk youth to develop critical thinking, teamwork, and self-confidence through “challenge by choice.” Curriculum development, course facilitation, and safety manager.
