Kathleen blends childhood influences, graphic design skills, and her strong sense of universal connection to produce rich, multi-layered images that invite conversation and beautify interior spaces. As a child, she was heavily influenced by the work of art photographers and their portrayal of the human body. After attaining a Master in Visual Arts from Provinciale Hogeschool Limburg, in Hasselt, Belgium, she went on to work in the graphic design field for ten years. In 2011 she opened MIST, a creative agency, with her partner. Her current fine artwork focuses primarily on exploring identity, the power of the mind, and the complexity of the human condition.A selection of her work can be seen at Caroline Jespers Kunstgalerij.She also regularly shows her work at exhibits, events and fairs.
