• Provide customer service to students and parents• Keep track of tracks of students, communicate their needs and concerns, and assist with routine requests during orientation programs• Follow and enforce university’s and all student services policies and procedures• Assist with set-up and breakdown at each orientation program• Conduct campus tours and small group sessions during orientation programs• Assist new students in advising, building a class schedule, and registration

• Create/develop a positive living environment designated to build a collaborative community among faculty and residents, often resolving conflict.• Promote academic excellence, addressed student’s needs, and encourage involvement among residents in a way that support the mission of the university and the department of housing and residence life.• Promote the interaction and construction of social networks between community and residents using Facebook/Instagram/OrgSync etc.• Market/Develop/facilitate student centered hall programs to promote social, education, diversity, health, and emotional understanding and growth.• Communicate, correspond, and collaborate with on and off-campus community partners including: counseling, student activities, campus security, Planned Parenthood, maintenance, etc.

Working at the cash register, stocking clothes, unpacking boxes in the back, greeting customers, and helping customers. Skills gained in customer service, conflict resolution, communication, integrity, and time management.
