Investigation of property and casualty claims involving losses ranging from: wind/hail, water, sewer backup, lightning, personal injury, auto liability, property liability, fire, ice storm, flood and recorded statements.Accurately identify, document and process the mitigation efforts after a water loss has occurred, including, but not limited to; properly identifying the source of water loss, identify the class of water (Class 1, 2, 3 and 4), Categories of Water Damage (Cat 1, Cat 2, Cat 3), work within EPA and local municipality standards to assist with placement of mitigation equipment and able to review dry logs and records to ensure proper procedures are met and adhered to with respect to the claims process.Work cooperatively with expert witnesses, attorneys, public adjusters, engineers and other experts to assist with investigation of claims.Accurately maintain thorough field notes, journal entries and other records necessary to update clients and carriers with respect to progress reporting during the claim investigation process.

I assisted field adjusters with scheduling inspections, updating client notes and claim statuses and inspecting homeowner property damage for storms ranging from Hurricane Sandy, daily claims, to Hurricane Florence and Michael, and wild fires in California. Estimating was completed for storm events; hail, wind, fire NFIP Flood losses and for non-weather-related events. Other events include; plumbing failures, property liability and scene investigations.Scope of investigating the loss included; photographing the loss, creating detailed diagrams of the risk and gathering supporting documentation to corroborate the claimed loss. Claim reports were sent to the clients via Xactanalysis and/or Symbilty Mobile Claims
