About Kathryn Ashbaugh

Recently I decided to explore a career change in UX Design. It involves my experience with customer service and my curiosity on how apps/ sites come together. I am currently pursuing my Google UX Design Professional certificate through Merit America. As part of the program, I am sharpening my skills in user-based research, design principles, accessibility best practices, and stakeholder engagement, I am excited to see where my learning takes me. Growing up around technology I would always look at an app or website and wonder why it does something I don't like or why it isn’t like another app I always use. When I learned about UX design I became more interested and decided it was a career I wanted to pursue. I have used my skills in communication and multitasking throughout my many years of working in customer service. I take pride in my work and make sure it is accurate and exceeds expectations.I am excited to explore the world of UX Design. I would love to connect with other individuals in the UX Design field and learn from their experiences. I am confident that my eagerness to soak in as much knowledge as I can will make me a quick study, a reliable ally, and an incredible asset to your team.
