Within my education and career experience, I have always valued work ethic and detailed oriented work.At Grand Canyon University, I graduated with my bachelor's and a 4.0 GPA. I enjoyed the fast paced learning environment and the communities I was able to connect with during my time in Arizona. I earned a spot on the Dean's list every semester in attendance at GCU. During my college years, I worked as a Lead at Old Navy and learned many great leadership and organizational skills within my role. I also worked as an Instructional Assistant in an after school program at a local AZ school. There, I was able to build my professional repertoire by collaborating with my teammates, communicating with student's parents, and relationship building with students. I graduated from GCU summa cum laude as I headed off into my career. As a teacher, I have learned an endless amount of valuable skills. Writing lesson plans, collaborating with other educators, and attending professional development events boosted my organizational skills and collaborative skills to make learning more efficient in the classroom. During my time as an educator, I have also seen the increasingly importance of being aware of inequities in our communities and supporting families and students to bring them equal access to learning and basic needs. Teaching has broadened my worldview and helped me become a detail oriented, efficient employee as I serve the different stakeholders in my work life.As I continue on into my career, I want to make an impact in other's lives, provide support to my teammates and community, and always work for more. I am always looking towards the future and ways I can grow.
